As part of May’s Lyme disease awareness month in New Jersey, the New Jersey Department of Health is partnering with Rutgers University to host a webinar on tick-borne diseases. This webinar is intended for local health department staff, clinicians, and local mosquito control professionals.

The webinar topics include (1) an overview on tick biology, life cycles, habitat and feeding practices, (2) a summary of what we know in NJ, from tick prevalence to pathogen detection, (3) a state summary of tick-borne disease trends, and (4) education resources and strategies.
